Here's what current and former parents had to say:

I have known Lynda and her family for 11 years. I first met her when I interviewed her while I was looking for child care for my first child in 2001. All of my children (three) have been blessed by them all being able to have Lynda as their child care provider. I was looking for a small group environment that my children would be able too get enough attention but also have the benefit of having a social environment that is so important to young children's development. I found exactly what I was looking for with Lynda.
All of the activities that the children do at her house helps the children learn and develop their motor skills that are so important to practice for when they begin kindergarten. She also identifies specific things that the child may need extra attention in. My youngest child mumbles and Lynda brought it to my attention and suggested things could do at home to help him speak more clearly. All my children were ready to start Kindergarten on their regular schedule start date and knew the specifics items that they were evaluated on during kindergarten evaluation.
The love and attention that all of my children received at Lynda's were phenomenal. I am very particular about whom I leave my children with and I was never concerned about how my children were doing because I knew that they were in good hands. My youngest child just had his last day at Lynda's last week and i realized how much I depended on Lynda for behavior, educational milestones...etc. Lynda was always available to give suggestions.
I highly recommend Lynda for child care to anyone that ever asks. She and her family are beneficial addition to your child's life and future development. There is no one else I could recommend more than her.

Lynda has cared for all 3 of my boys. She is more than just a babysitter. She does educational activities with them and provides home cooked meals everyday. My kids would not want to leave when I was there to pick them up. She treats the kids as her own. She is truly a member of our family for life.

If you are looking for a quality daycare where your children are safe AND nurtured...you can't beat Lynda's Daycare. I found Lynda almost 18 years ago when I was looking for daycare for my daughter, who was just one year old at the time. When I walked into her home, I got that "warm fuzzy" feeling. You know...that feeling of comfort that lets you know everything is alright and a good fit. I noticed the daycare kids having fun and smiling. She was getting ready to served them lunch...made from scratch, homemade meals that are nutritious and delicious. She teaches them Kindergarten readiness skills such as ABC's, counting, and eventually they start to write their own names. She was doing everything I would do as my daughter's mother. The other places I checked (over 30 places locally) were just baby-sitters...but Lynda's was different because she actually cared. She doesn't just promise to keep your child physically safe, she genuinely is interested in raising the whole child - mentally emotionally, etc. She reads to them. She plays games with them to practice social skills, counting, sharing, good sportsmanship, and patience. She cheers for them when they learn to use the potty (and yes, she helps potty train). She does art with the kids to develop fine motor skills and she makes sure they get a lot of outdoor play to develop those large motor skills. Nobody is plopped in front of a TV all day on her watch.
I'm a teacher, so education and development is very important to me. In fact, a good majority of her parents are teachers and other professionals who work with children (speech therapists, occupational therapists, etc.). I guess it takes a teach to know a teacher, and really...that is what Lynda really does. She doesn't just babysit, she teaches them all those things we want our children to learn. I put my daughter in her care nearly 18 years ago, and she stayed until she had to go to Kindergarten. When I had my son 5 years ago, I knew I was going to put him in Lynda's daycare because I knew my son would be nurtured and cared for exactly the same as my daughter was. Both of my children call her Aunt Lynda because she treats her parents and kids like family. She protects and nurtures...and we all love her for it. My daughter is in college now and my son is about to start Kindergarten and both are doing great, with A LOT of credit going to Lynda for giving my kids a solid footing in their early years while I was at work.
It's funny...people will put a lot of research into picking out a car and figuring out a budget that allows them to make that car payment, but I've seen a lot of less research into where people drop off their children and what they are willing to pay for it. And she's not even expensive! If you price around, you'll see she's fair and reasonable. I'm a single parent with a child in college...and I always feel like my daycare expense is money well spent. People who go to Lynda's stay there until it's time for their children to go to school because they realize what a catch she is and how fortunate we are to have a had her in our children's lives. My daughter says when she is done with college, married and has kids, all of her kids are going to Lynda's too! :).
Lynda's daycare is a treasure.

Lynda's Daycare is a welcoming and loving environment. My children arrived every morning to the aroma of a home-cooked breakfast. They have thrived in the nurturing and structured environment created by Lynda. As an educator, I value the time and effort Lynda puts into the various academic, recreational, social and creative activities my children experience on a daily basis. Under Lynda's supervision, my children have mastered most of the skills necessary to be successful. Lynda and her family take an interest in my children beyond the time spent in their home by frequently attending their extra curricular events. I feel confident when recommending Lynda's Daycare to friends and colleagues. Lynda and her family have become part of my extended family and I would never consider placing them anywhere else.

Our daughter has been going to Lynda's Day Care for 3 years (she is now 4). Lynda is great because she is loving, experienced (over 17 years), and reliable. My wife and I are both educators and interviewed several home day cares as well as a few school-type settings, and we chose Lynda. We have been very happy with her.
Our daughter has learned social skills, made friends with the other children, and also has learned academics to prepare for kindergarten. In fact, Lynda does a great job with teaching academics to the kids, so that we have decided not to send her to preschool this year. Also, she has been very helpful in working with us through critical stages, such as potty training.
Lynda's loving care includes home cooking and celebrating holidays and birthdays with the kids, and she even has gifts for them.
We have recommended Lynda to our friends. All the parents that we know that have chosen Lynda have been very satisfied. Even the children who have outgrown her daycare come back to visit and request their favorite home-made dishes from her.

We have trusted both of our children to Lynda and she has been great. She provides a loving, nurturing atmosphere. Our children have learned social skills and were both very well prepared for preschool/kindergarten. Academics, basic skills, colors, numbers, letter, etc. are all a part of our children's day at Lynda's. Lynda has also kept her prices low to help families during the recession. As a school teacher and school district administrator, we would highly recommend Lynda to anyone looking for child care. We started both of our children at 3 months, and kept them with her until they were ready for preschool. We have been with Lynda for 7 years total, and never had any thoughts of going anywhere else. Our children felt loved, safe and cared for. Our son (7) still asks if he can go back to Lynda's house when he has days off of school when we have to work, and her daughters even babysit for us at night when we need a date night. Finding Lynda was truly a blessing for our family. They are located near the corner of La Palma and Stanton in a home on a side street away from traffic.
